Pacemaker & Defibrillator Clinic

A permanent pacemaker/defibrillator or biventricular device may be required by some patients when there is a disturbance in the heart’s ability to transmit electrical impulses or in the heart’s regular rhythm.

These devices can be checked at Coffs Cardiology by our trained staff. Be sure to know the brand of the pacemaker or defibrillator you have had inserted and the date of insertion.

Coffs Cardiology is able to check Medtronic, Boston Scientific/Guidant, St Jude, and Biotronik devices. We regularly host Defibrillator Clinics undertaken by specialist staff from the device companies.
